Data Storage

We would like to point out that for the purpose of a simpler shopping process and for later contract processing, the IP data of the connection owner is stored by the webshop operator within the framework of cookies, as well as the name, address, and credit card number of the buyer.

In addition, for contract processing purposes, the following data is also stored with us: salutation, name, address, phone number, and email address. The data you provide is necessary for the fulfillment of the contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures. Without this data, we cannot enter into a contract with you. Data transmission to third parties does not take place, with the exception of transmitting the credit card data to the processing banks/payment service providers for the purpose of debiting the purchase price, to the transport/shipping company commissioned by us for the delivery of goods, and to our tax consultant to fulfill our tax obligations.

After the shopping process is canceled, the data stored with us is deleted. In the event of a contract conclusion, all data from the contractual relationship is stored until the expiration of the tax retention period (7 years).

The data, such as name, address, purchased goods, and purchase date, are also stored until the expiration of product liability (10 years). Data processing is based on the legal provisions of § 96 para 3 TKG as well as Art 6 para 1 lit a (consent) and/or lit b (necessary for contract fulfillment) of the GDPR.

Cookies
We use so-called cookies on our site to recognize multiple uses of our services by the same user/internet connection owner. This recognition is based on the IP address stored in the cookies. The information obtained in this way is used to optimize our offers and to make it easier for you to access our site. You can prevent the installation of cookies by setting your browser accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case, you may not be able to use all the features of our website to their full extent.

Use of Google Analytics with anonymization function
We use Google Analytics on our site, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as “Google”. Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer, allowing an analysis of your use of the website.

The information generated by these cookies, such as the time, place, and frequency of your website visit, including your IP address, is transmitted to and stored by Google in the USA.

We use Google Analytics on our website with an IP anonymization function. In this case, your IP address will already be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area, thereby anonymizing it.

Google will use this information to evaluate your use of our site, compile reports on website activity for us, and provide other services related to website usage and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties if required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google.

According to Google’s own statements, it will never associate your IP address with any other Google data. You can prevent the installation of cookies by adjusting the settings of your browser software; however, we would like to point out that in this case, you might not be able to use all the features of our website to their full extent.

Furthermore, Google offers a deactivation option for the most common browsers, giving you more control over what data Google collects and processes. If you enable this option, no information about your website visit will be transmitted to Google Analytics. Activation does not prevent information from being sent to us or to any other web analytics services we might use. For more information about the deactivation option provided by Google and how to activate it, please follow the link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en

Google-Maps
We use the “Google Maps” component from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as “Google”, on our site.

Each time the “Google Maps” component is accessed, Google sets a cookie to process user settings and data when displaying the page on which the “Google Maps” component is integrated. As a rule, this cookie is not deleted by closing the browser but expires after a certain time unless you delete it manually beforehand.

If you do not agree with the processing of your data, you have the option to deactivate the “Google Maps” service, thereby preventing data transmission to Google. To do this, you must deactivate the Java-Script function in your browser. However, we would like to point out that in this case, you may not be able to use “Google Maps” or only to a limited extent.

The use of “Google Maps” and the information obtained through “Google Maps” is in accordance with Google’s terms of use

http://www.google.de/intl/en/policies/terms/regional.html

and the additional terms and conditions for “Google Maps”

Newsletter-Tracking

Our newsletters contain so-called tracking pixels (web bugs), with which we can recognize if and when an email was opened and which links in the email were followed by the personalized recipient.

We store this data to optimize our newsletters based on the desires and interests of our subscribers. Accordingly, the data thus collected is used to send personalized newsletters to each recipient.

We ask for your consent regarding this as follows:

“I agree that my data and user behavior are stored electronically by the newsletter tracking to send me a personalized newsletter. By revoking the consent to receive the newsletter, the consent to the aforementioned tracking is also revoked.”

By revoking the consent to receive the newsletter, the consent to the aforementioned tracking is also revoked.

Google-Adwords

We also use the Google advertising tool “Google Adwords” to promote our website. In this context, we use the analysis service “Conversion Tracking” of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter “Google”, on our website. If you have arrived at our website via a Google advertisement, a cookie will be stored on your computer. Cookies are small text files that your internet browser stores and saves on your computer. These so-called “conversion cookies” lose their validity after 30 days and are not used to identify you personally. If you visit certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, both we and Google can recognize that you, as a user, have clicked on one of our advertisements placed with Google and have been redirected to our page.

The information obtained through the “conversion cookies” allows Google to generate visit statistics for our website. Through these statistics, we learn the total number of users who have clicked on our ad and also which pages of our website were subsequently accessed by the respective user. However, neither we nor other advertisers via “Google Adwords” receive any information that allows users to be personally identified.

You can prevent the installation of the “conversion cookies” by adjusting the settings of your browser, for example, by setting the browser to generally deactivate the automatic setting of cookies or specifically block only the cookies from the domain “googleadservices.com”.

You can obtain Google’s relevant data protection declaration under the following link: https://services.google.com/sitestats/en.html

We would like to point out that you have the right to correct incorrect data or delete personal data unless this request is opposed by a legal retention obligation. Upon deletion of customer data, any existing loyalty discount claims will be lost.
